Little bit hard to find, late at night, without a gps, as roads are not lit.

I had the most incredible time at this stunning B&B! The Peppermint room, which was a free upgrade, had a stunning view of the mountains. The breakfast spread was wide and delicious. Mike, Sally, and Natalie were excellent hosts, accommodating and giving great suggestions. I highly recommend this place for a beautiful and comfortable stay.

Our stay at the guesthouse was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cleanliness of the room. The kitchenette was a great bonus, allowing us to prepare our own meals. The private terrace had breathtaking views of the surrounding nature - it was like something out of a dream. The grounds were incredibly well kept, with beautiful gardens that added to the overall charm of the place. The hosts and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. And let me tell you about the breakfast - it was mind-blowing! The spread of fresh baked breads, croissants, cheeses, yogurt, and toppings was something out of a food lover's paradise. The full meal options were equally impressive, with a traditional breakfast that included eggs, sausage, bacon, grilled tomatoes, and mushrooms. We felt truly spoiled during our stay. The location of the guesthouse was ideal - situated in a safe area, it was easy to get into the city and also close to the airport. There was a shopping center nearby and plenty of dining options. our four nights at the guesthouse were perfect and we would readily return if given the opportunity. It had everything we needed to start our trip to South Africa on the right foot.

The guest room at The Dongola Guesthouse was absolutely amazing! The en suite bathroom had all the bathroom amenities I needed and the fluffy bathrobes made me feel like royalty. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved having the option to choose from a pillow menu. The laptop-friendly workspace and air conditioning were great additions to the room. Plus, the satellite TV and tea-and-coffee-making facilities were so convenient. I couldn't have asked for more!
Personally, I didn't enjoy the private patio with views. But it's all just my subjective opinion.
